The World For What People Fought For. Poem by Amy Kerswell

The World For What People Fought For.

The world
For people whoLost their lives.
In the two world wars.
Just so we could be free.
Now its treated as bull and a load or rot.
Cos every where you turn.
Theres a death or muder.
Fighting all around.
Is this really why people
Gave their lives?

Fight seems to be the rule of life.
With anger jealosy and rage.
Its sad but its true.
Its now a way of life.

It would appear that its a joke
For those who gave their lives
Wanted freedom peace and calm.
Now there is only disorder and panic.

Its been trwown back in their faces.
For all the fighting that still exists.
Not to be a distant thing.

When you turn your head
theres another fight around.
Each new corner turned
A fight is sure to be there.

What a pity for those who gave their lives
To look down and see.
What a funny place the world can be
