The Writing On The Wall Poem by Ali Rahimi

The Writing On The Wall

books do not burn, never ever futile,
truth does not fade, smile,
love does not vanish, mind!
cowardice does not win, hearken!
greed does not pay, beware!
ignorance does not live, it decays,
tears do not dry in vain,
they resonate and remain,
fear shall not rein,
truth and light shall retain,
lies and deception shall melt away,
history shall not be wiped away,
pens shall not break, shall not fade away,
music shall not be silenced, repressed,
nature shall survive and witness,
the pathetic end of the faceless
