The Yazidis Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Yazidis

Who are the Yezidis,
How their faith and culture,
What do they worship,
How do they in their temples?

Their way of worshipping
And kissing,
The peacock symbol
Over the wall,
The lamp burning inside
Tell many a thing.

The sun-worshippers
The Yezidis bow their head before
The temples gates,
Enter into,
Light the lamps,
Take the blessings from.
