The You, You Dont Want To See Poem by lex england

The You, You Dont Want To See

Daddy,
Sounds so childish.
I'm no longer a child you see daddy.

You don't like me changing, but what daddy doesn't.
You don't like me doing the things i do, but neither did your daddy.

You see daddy I'm not the me you want me to be.

Maybe one day you'll see daddy,
Blond curls with blue eyes isn't your little girl anymore.
In the mirror i face I'm more the you, you don't want to see.

I wonder daddy when will you see the YOU behind the cold bars in MY eyes

Probably never daddy...
