The Lions roar, the Elephants tusk,
The Pandas claw, the Reptiles busk.
A day at the zoo is like no other,
With smiles, laughter and animals to smother.
The Wolves howl, the Chimps swing,
The Vultures cowl, the Lorikeet sing.
The crowds gather for the Tiger feed,
They watch the Big Cats stalk at low speed.
The Penguins waddle, the Rhinos charge,
The Sloths doddle, the Hippos are large.
The sun is shining, no breeze in the air,
The Jaguars teeth will give you a scare.
The Piranhas bite, the Gorillas care,
The Giraffes height, the Orangutans hair.
As the day comes to a close children cry,
But overall the spirits are high.
