Theory Of Stripeativity Poem by Ima Ryma

Theory Of Stripeativity

As a zebra I get a lot
Of studies done on my stripes by
Humans who I just guess have not
Got much to do but ask more why.
A bunch of these studies have found
That biting flies fly all about
Where we zebras do most abound,
And like to bite zebras, no doubt.
Dark/light stripe patterns seem to make
Flies dizzy, so zebras evolved
Such stripes for that repellent sake.
It works quite well, so problem solved.

If these human studies are right,
Will humans be striped black and white?
