There Came She, Only To Save Me Poem by Shahin Asmari

There Came She, Only To Save Me

Going through the hardships and obstacles
On this dreary and mundane life of mine;
Living like ghosts, passing the motionless days,
Being lost and lonely, having no reason to shine;
Aghast look on my face, struck by sad incidents,
Rewinding the sweet memories, all in one line;
God, alas, bring back those days!

***

An angel flew down, out of no where, sat beside me,
Humble look, innocent eyes, soft and swift subtle mind,
Astounding behavior, arousing the sense of curiosity;
Difficult it seemed, her presence, to ever decline;
I crashed, I burned, I was born back again like a Phoenix,
After all, a savior she was, mastering my heart's rhyme,
Turning my days brighter, and my vision broader to a better life.
