Sometimes life likes to throw us under a bus
When that happens we need someone to talk to
Someone who will just listen when you need to vent
Someone who is truly there for you no matter what

When things get out of control
Or when you don't know what to do
Or when drama finds its way back into your life
Know that you can always count on me

You can count on me to always respond to a text,
To answer your every phone call,
To join you on a long walk or for a drive
I'll always have a listening ear for you

If you need a shoulder to cry on,
Or need someone to help carry you through a hard time
Count on me to do my best to make you smile again
You know I love you and I always will

I'll do everything in my power
To make sure you never hurt again
Day or night, it doesn't matter to me,
