Sleepless Nights
The time is 3am
I have not slept a blink
All night I lay in bed
Tossing and turning
To get you out of my head
But every time I close my eyes
The only thing I see is you
It puts a smile on my face
And I pray that you will visit
Visit the land of my dreams
For in my dreams it's a perfect world
A world made for you and me
I never have reason to miss you
When you live behind my eyelids
A sudden jolt awakens me
I check the time
It now reads 3: 10
And it all begins again

Love is a spiritual experience that affects all and sundry profoundly. Sometimes, one is so overwhelmed by its blissful emotion that sleeping at night is not just possible.
