There Is A Fire In My Soul Poem by Cassandra Kasten

There Is A Fire In My Soul

There is a fire in my Soul,
so bright it blinds those who look at it.

There is a fire in my Soul,
it burns those who touch it.

There is a fire in my Soul,
so large it could be a wild fire.

There is a fire in my Soul,
so hot it's cold.

There is a fire in my Soul,
it is life.

There is a fire in my Soul,
it is death.

There is a fire in my Soul,
how will it treat you?

Well, that depends on you.

There is a fire in my Soul,
let it be the warmth that keeps you alive,
or let it be the flams that cause you harm.

For the fire in my Soul will never be smothered.
I will never burn out.
