There Is A Poem That Was Never Written Down - Poem by Shalom Freedman

There is a poem that was never written down
It was never even heard
Nothing about it is known
Except that it exists
And this too is a question-
Why anyone would try to read it I do not know
But night and day for years
I have sung it to myself silently

So it is there, this poem,
a certain Shalom sings it in silence to himself,
and if I've got it right,
he sings it all the day and night? (Report) Reply
