There Once Was A Cat (Children's Poem) Poem by Ronald Chapman

There Once Was A Cat (Children's Poem)

Once upon a time there was a little cat.

There are hidden places she could be.

All right, where did you go little kitty?

There, the rat the rat the rat!

On tippy-toe, tippy-toe, "Up on all fours".
I know where she go,

So, I'll just stand up and strike a pose.
Empty paws.

All right, what did you do with the rat?
She looks fat!
