There Once Was A Princess Poem by Airda Jones

There Once Was A Princess

I hear your stories
And I feel nothing but pity
'Cause you think you're perfect
That you're better than me

But to tell you the truth
All that I can see
Is a spoiled, little girl
Drowning in pride and greed

One who has to have
The center stage and front seat
Out of everything else
You have to be in the lead

And you throw a fit
When you cannot be
The girlfriend for
Every single man that is free

So you can stay on
That cloud and in that dream
Because I wouldn't want to be you
For the life of me.
