There's An Idiot Behind Me Poem by Debora Soramaki

There's An Idiot Behind Me

I'm driving down the freeway
Abiding by the law
Soon I hear a truck behind me
Biggest thing I ever saw!
' Slow down! You're gonna hit me! ',
As I'm talkin to the mirror
Soon it passes to the left of me
Now a second one's on my rear!
What's the matter with these people,
Don't they know how to read?
I just want to get there safely
There's no way I'm gonna speed.
Then a third one's on my tail
So I say in a loud voice
' There's an idiot behind me! '
Not leaving me much choice.
Someone's always in a hurry
So why stay in the right lane
That's what the left lane is for,
They just haven't got a brain.

Funny but true. There are especially a lot of idiot drivers where I live.

Oh, the number of times I have thought the same thing! There's me crawling along at 90mph and some idiot is up my rear, lol. Seriously, though, some people just like to play dangerous games on the roads. I can identify with this poem. Love, Fran xx
