There Were No Takers Of Indian English Poetry As For Ph.Ds., Whatever Say You Today Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

There Were No Takers Of Indian English Poetry As For Ph.Ds., Whatever Say You Today

There were no takers of Indian English poetry
As for Ph.Ds.,
The so-called modern poets and poetesses
Were nowhere,
There were no takers and buyers of
Slender self-published books
Often out of print and stock
And what it was more deplorable
Was the standard,
Derivative, copious and imitative nature
Of writing.
