With the way my head rests on your shoulder
And the way your palm touches my cheek
You convince me that the pain in my life is over
You persuade me that it's alright to be weak...

In the way your eyes meet mine while talking
And in the way you stare at me so deep
I've always felt that certain longing
That desire I bring with me even to sleep...

With how you caress me each morning as I wake
And with how you tuck me in to bed at night
It seems like I'm willing to put all I have at stake
'Cause I have no doubt that you'll be my knight...

With the way you hug me tight in a gentle way
And the way you kiss my eyes, my nose, and my lips
I always know you're here, though far away
I always feel that this love's for keeps...

In the way you give me chills whenever you say my name
And the way your voice makes my heart pump out of my chest
I can't help but hope that we stay the same
I can't help but wish that we could stand the test...

In the way you say you miss me
And in the way you show your love
I'm assured that wherever we may be
We'll take these with us, these feelings we have...
