#these scars upon my soul#

This feeling won't seem to go
The open wounds inside my heart just won't heal
My emotions leave me confused
I just don't know how I feel

These scars upon my soul
Leave me broken inside
They leave indents upon my mind
Broken hearts and discarded promises 
Leave me dazed and confused

I was hurt so bad
All I've ever known is brokenness
What is it like... 
The feeling of wholeness
I may never know

For an eternity I will be
Broken for all to see
The desire of fullness and whole
Is the true desire of my soul...
