These Shoes Poem by Sylvain Beauchamp

These Shoes

Rating: 5.0

These shoes
in the doorway
let me breath
a sigh of relief

These shoes
he wore tonight
are back
where they belong

These shoes
of my son's
allow me
to sleep

These shoes
in the doorway
mean  everything's ok

He's home

Thank God for these shoes
