They All Left Me Along The Way Poem by Odnalor Tines

They All Left Me Along The Way

Rating: 4.0

They all left me along the way
Letting me drown in the darkness
I must stand on myself today

I am alone going astray
Wandering in the wilderness
They all left me along the way

I stumble to rise up, I say
I waken up my consciousness
I must stand on myself today

Please give me strength, I pray
I'm already weak and hopeless
They all left me along the way

I served as pillar everyday
To paint a face of happiness
I must stand on myself today

I survived all odds of the day
He washes my face from sadness
They all left me along the way
I must stand on myself today
