My nightmares seem closer to reality,
The worlds getting foggier and harder to see.

If you looked into my eyes and tried to look inside,
All you would see is the words my soul has cried.

Maybe if I close my eyes a little tighter,
The world would look a little brighter.

But I'm afraid to open them and see,
Just how the world looks arround me.

I'm afraid now to let you know,
Why the emptiness hurts to show.

My eyes are swolen and red from this pain,
I don't care what they say; my tears aren't hidden in the rain.
