They Fled In The Night Poem by Katherine Steinbauer

They Fled In The Night

Rating: 3.8

They fled in the Night
Before the Thing could take
Flight.
Cold air and Granite
Full Moon.
Is where the Memory
takes you.
Come and Fight.
Before it destroys the
Light.
Church bells Ring
in the
Night.
It is Time to Decide,
Whether to Run or
Fight.
