They Say Poem by Elizabeth Walker

They Say

They say that i have potential
That my life is on a role
but moving out of home
is difficult for sure

I try to keep up with the work at school
but thats what its about
another challenge held at your finger tips
trying to work things out

but what happens when you've had enough
and you cant take the pressure anymore
do you just move on
is it that easy to close a door

my parents always said
that you can do it, but when your older
but now enjoy your child hood
before you know it will be over

I am a young teen now
and am starting to understand why
the gave me all the love in the world
underneath theyre eyes

I feel like the luckiest girl
but with her troubles and feeling inside
maybe i'll just leave the worls
for one more dream full-filled night

I shall dream of words unspoken
and creatures yet to be found
and so right at this very moment
I am leaving, to go lie downyou ungratefull creatures.
