Thing In The Past Poem by megan ross

Thing In The Past

When you pass me in the hall,
my heart beats so fast,
i feel myself blushing-
why didnt it last?

Memories of us,
flood into my mind
all i really want to do,
is to turn back the time.

Remember when we sat in my room,
smiling ear to ear,
you said i was perfect
baby please just come here.

We would go on walks all over
sometimes in the park,
we would spend all day together,
till it got dark

You made me feel so special
and i thought we were going to last
but all you are now-
is a thing in the past.
