things are happening so badly
the boat is sinking
and the rats are coming out
jumping to the sea
hoping to save themselves

and yet we too keep a blind eye
i am listening to the news on TV
while you dance there the zumba

and when the boat sinks
we go with it as though nothing happened
that is how numb we have become
for all these things that are happening so
badly as we keep a blind eye as we keep
on doing the usual...
