Sometimes, in life, I am within a maze;
I know God helps me out in any case;
Sometimes, I find it difficult to trace
My direction true in this earthly race!
I face so many hurdles in my life;
My energies are wasted tackling them;
You never know when comes much greater strife;
“Thine forehead sweat must touch the ground, Adam! ”
Nevertheless, all things must see their end;
God helps so wonderfully to defend;
The taller grass will have to much more bend;
God gives us travail, our life to amend.
Things can’t go on like this for very long!
Must always end, a sad or joyful song;
But man must know the right from every wrong;
We labor hard, earth’s best, to be among!
