Things That Do Not Shine Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Things That Do Not Shine

1.This is a silly stupid rhyme
About things that do not shine
Your toothpaste tasted kind of weird
And now you can not hear

2.You bought a golden ring
But it's still winter
Not romantic spring
Though the sun is up
The clouds are making it tough

3.Let's talk about diamonds, rubies, and pearls
They fell in a muddy swirl
Of coarse the trophy was made of brass
But you came in second place
Yeah you did your best
But you still didn't win the race

4.The sparkle of the moon and stars
The flowers in the yard
Where dancing in your head
The night that you had said
Let's kiss and gently swoon
She didn't see the moon
And now the only hope
Is Astro Glow the new (gets everything sparkling clean)soap
