It keeps me from freezing
Mellowing the cold morning air
Here in the desert

I'm thankful for the beautiful
Sand formation
Dunes
Waves
Oh winds masterpiece!
Carefully arranged
Turning
Them into beautiful vista
A beautiful view
Despite the treeless background

I'm thankful for the air
Breathe
It's free
Filling my lungs
Making me fresh and enlivened

I'm thankful for the
animals
plants
Many years gone,
Sacrificing themselves
For the modern world to have those fossil fuels
Making the economy
And industry
Alive!
