Think Of Me Poem by Edward Schriner

Think Of Me

Think of me
As you look upon a grassy knoll
And you will see me rolling in the clover

Think of me
When you see a set of eyes full of joy
For that was in my heart as I walked with you

Think of me
Every time you view a young soul
For my love was ageless being with you

Think of me
As your eyes fill with sorrowful tears
When I looked up at you with doting love

Think of me
When you reach down beside yourself
You will feel my head right beneath your hand

Think of me
As you hear great joyous laughter
For my voice was full of mirth as I spoke

Think of me
When you see darker days ahead
Because I am with you heart and soul

And I am glad that you thought of me
While my days of comfort are past
You had the courage to say goodbye.
