Think Of Me As A Tree Poem by Patrick Joslin

Think Of Me As A Tree

Think of me as a tree:
My roots dug in deep;
To support you:
Because, you're tired and weak;
My trunk steadfast and true:
Never wavering;
Standing tall, strong for you,
My branches stretch:
Up and down to support you;
From falling to the ground
My leaves there to shade you:
For when the days;
Become stressful and long.
This tree has grown:
From words of my mind:
From my heart:
Deep, steadfast, true,
Strong, support
All here:
Always there for you.
