Think Twice Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Think Twice

A fresh love affair would end in tears.
Act now ~ and come to your senses.
Romeo's been married for twenty years,
Consider the dire consequences.

You must tell him 'no' in the friendliest way
No more gazing through rose-tinted lenses.
Wait not for tomorrow - tell him today
But carefully hide behind solid defences.

With arms open wide, your family await you.
Your leaving would prove their worst fear.
Think twice and quickly come to your senses
And Cling very tightly to all you hold dear..
