in the field the children play
filling the air with laughter
its amazing how many smiles fit in one day
as each one start to chase after
eachother slowly gaining speed
the thrill, the joy, the simple minds of childeren
the ray of light shining through
the way i start to think of you
tag in the fields
kissing behind the shed
its amazing how much a carefree thought
has lead me to the thought of you
the thought of how much we've been through
this cant be over
lets not say goodbye
but this is over
and its time for me to resign
so ill laugh with children
and play tag in the fields
but please my dear remember
this is not how i feel.
