Thirteen Poem by Kay Barcelon

Thirteen

Reach deep and deep within
For you have the strenght of a warrior
Stand still enemy's heart soon weaken
Insightful of divide melts obscured wall

Knowing you knowing him
Always be aware no shadow kept hidden
In the light surround yourself with love
Love showers from beyond and above

Find thirteen, thirteen good traits
Thirteen wishes, thirteen fights
Hang it around you and in your heart
For thirteen loves are on your guard

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It is not your fault that you are being bullied, however it needs to stopped. To have an effective shield or defense against bullying, it is important to know your true self and the person that steals your happiness.
Somewhere I read:
How do we recognize a Bully or an Energy Vampire? Even if these vamps have mastered hiding their true feelings and developed a thick front, the signs are still there.
In reality your bully is mentally weaker than you are, jealous of your strength, and more likely too stupid to understand the consequences of their actions and worse, receives fake feedbacks.
The truth is your bully or your energy vampire:
-       feels abandoned
-       feels lonely
-       feels rejected or have been rejected
-       needs constant reassuring
-       never feels content or satisfied
-       doesn't like to be alone
-       seeks nurturing
-       feels a need to be taken care of
-       has low energy and fatigued of their routine
-       has a poor 'me' and 'I' attitude
-       is a drama queen or king
-       liefully claims to be a victim
-       is the constant talker that never allows you to speak
-       is the judge and jury
-       is the blamer (makes you feel inadequate or guilty about things)
-       is very vindictive and constantly putting you down
-       is a person that is unhappy everyday
-       tries controlling you or your life
-       acts as a leader and over-powering
-       manipulates you to get things their way
-       talks about you openly, talks about you secretly and talks about you while you hang on the corner of their eye
