Soft night rain
Slips out of bed
Before daybreak
Without saying goodbye

Cloudless sky morning
Slips in through the open window
Touches my shoulder gently
Breathes me in
Draws me close

Morning and I
Listen
Hear everything
See clearly

This long quiet moment together
This calm now
Morning lover and I
Waking
As One
