This Is Where I Slit My Wrists Poem by Seairra Kyger

This Is Where I Slit My Wrists

Rating: 4.5

How can I lie
Say I'm alright
Can you not see
I’m dying inside
I hide my tears under contridictive smiles
And I hide my cuts under long sleeves

What about my feelings for you
Can we convert our kisses
Into pleading glances
How did I lose this comfort
Of being safe

If you would have never said
You loved me
I wouldn’t have said it back
I’m lying to myself
Afraid of something else

Honey if you stay
You’ll be forgiven
But you don’t have to forgive me
False tears are just lies to me now
But I believe so are false smiles
The boggie man doesn't exsist

Real men don’t cry
Your not crying
Conversations are lost
When lips are sealed
Will I play the fool
In this game
