what is love
but some feeling
i know of it
i know it hurts
and at times is appealing
but does it really exist
does it mean anything
other than heartache
other than pain
because ive never been
never been through with it
i need to know
before i make a mistake
will love make me happy
i need to know
will it make me downcast
and make me cry
i don't want to be anxious
and waiting around
for love to swing my way
just to break me down
because ive heard
that it happens like a cycle
its again and again
until its like an addiction
it gets hard to break
