Will I Be Behind Poem by Rabi Anata

Will I Be Behind

When I face time,
Will it all add up,
Or will I be behind?
Can I race to the front
Like the Doctor or Architect,
Or the President,
Or will I be behind?
Can I catch up to the front line
With some baggage on my shoulder?
Will it make it,
Or will it weigh me down?

How will I fight,
And how will I fend,
When everything is rushing towards me?
I never had a chance to think about it,
So when it comes, I know to surrender.
I get distracted by the puzzle of life,
And I wonder why the puzzle never fits.
I think I'm wasting time observing it.
So, will I be behind
As everything moves forward?

Every now and again,
I look down the troubled road,
And I don't see anything at the end.
If I stretch what I know,
And bend over,
I might see that glint of hope.
When I face time,
Will it all add up,
Or will I be behind?
When I find my way
Will it make any sense,
Or will I be behind?

personal advice: sometimes the day gets increasingly short, but in the end just make sure you're done what has to be done, and time will add up. just make it worthwhile. but, good poem C:
