This isn't your world
That isn't your sky to pollute
Under chimney stacks of Cancer clouds
That isn't your river to dam
With live droves of fish that drown
That isn't your jungle to tame
And bulldoze with concrete graves
Those aren't your trees to behead
Then turn into holocaust pens
That isn't your mountain to mine
Or suck every mineral in its bones dry
And those aren't your oceans to leech
With black scum and plastic and bleach
You see, we were never kicked out of Eden
We turned to a shopping mall and called it paradise
In short, this was never your world...
You were just animal lucky to be on this blue marble
Excellent! The honorable poet is well aware of the environment. He is a concerned environmentalist, He gave the reminder not to abuse the nature and not to pollute. Very academic. Thanks for sharing. +++10
