This jasmine in your hair,
Smells better than the whole garden,
I never thought a facile fragrance
Of a flower, my heart will gladden,

This is the night for our souls to meet,
Lo! The moon and the stars greet,
With the Lord's Blessing, we begin
A life of love, pure, true, neat,

Beautiful, simply, like you my love,
Blossoming under the morning rain,
With you, this life shall be a jasmine,
My jocular heart asks, ' What is pain? '
