There is a man i truly know,
His courage strength and wisdom
inspire this flow.

Without this man i surely would be
A shell of my former self sent out to the sea.

This man stepped up to show me the way,
He helped me to understand Live, Love, Laugh and Pray.

I hope i can give back what he gave to me,
The true respect of life and what will come to be.

Sometimes when life hits me low,
I look at the man who helped me grow.

This man was there to help me mend my life together,
He truly is a modelbest friend.

Lord i ask 'Please take his pain and wash it away with a simple rain'
