My heart has been ached and cracked
My heart has bent forward and back
It's gone left to right
And been through terrible fright...
It's seen what they call love before
But yet it's always been just a trick therefore
It's learned to look up
But never fixed its wounds
It's been blinded and played
It's a never ending game
Yet this ol heart of mine still shows it cares
Still shows people it's there
Emotion to give
But fear to hide
This heart of mine is afraid to shine
My earts been broken for years
Never once has it seen that permanent hand
To be held again...
