Thorns On A Rose Poem by Runni McDaniel

Thorns On A Rose

Roses have thorns
They are sharp but as stare at the rose
You never notice them scaling the stems
The beauty enchants you deeply
forcing you to touch the rose
finally feeling a slight sting

Becareful Roses may be gorgeous but they have thorns
Thorns protect them so they stay pretty
Thorns sometimes also hold interest
to those who think cautiously when
approaching the wonderous flower
