Those Of The God Within Poem by Francis Duggan

Those Of The God Within

What I do not know of i cannot deny
Though cannot say of the truth in this god in the sky
I believe everybody is born untainted by sin
But sadly some in life lose their god within

I am one who in the god within believe
And in life what we give in return we receive
Those with the god within less likely to offend
And they treat everyone as they would treat a friend

Those of the god within are compassionate and kind
And of the performing of good deeds are far more inclined
Than some of those who believe on a god in the sky
Why this is so one does wonder why?

Babies are born untainted by sin
But not everyone does retain their god within
God in the mind of everyone does not stay
It does take all sorts as the wise one does say.
