Those Souvenirs Poem by Sandra Feldman

Those Souvenirs

Rating: 5.0

Semi-sweet Souvenirs,
Back and forth
They go,
Sometimes
Life absorbs their
Tears,
Sometimes,
You just
Can't let them go,
Like painful thorns
They're present,
The ones you can't
Forget,
Of love
You can't let go,
Those unconditional
Regrets,
Souvenirs
That you posses
And posses, you
They're in your life,
Forever
In your heart
And in your head
Where for years,
Silently,
They bled.

A deeply moving and poignant poem. A very heartfelt and touching write. Yes, they are always a part of our life despite they bring sadness because the people who caused them have brought us love and happiness in.a given God's time.
