Those Were The Days Poem by Richard Theze

Those Were The Days

Now,
High towers
Stand,
Where flowers
Grew,
And the river
Spanned,
And the woodland
Cut through,
And you,
And the days
We knew,
Too few,
Didn’t last,
Passed,
Like sand
Through glass,
Are gone now,
Too.
