Those Who Pass Before Us Poem by Michele C. Messina Long

Those Who Pass Before Us

A mixed multitude of friends,
Paths crossing for many reasons;
Some revealed, yet others remaining a mystery.
Their ages spanning the continuum of a lifetime,
All leave their mark, teaching us well.
Our times together all too soon come to rest
Among our dearest treasures.
Their laughter, smile, and love,
A sweet, sweet memory,
Etched softly into our essence shared with Oneness.
