Those Who Want Power The Most Always Get It

Rating: 3.0

Those who want power the most always get it and that's how it always will be
And that's why we have wars and famines and that's why we have poverty
The wealthy grow wealthier whilst the poor grow poorer and millions live on the brink of despair
Then suppose it depends on your own situation whether you think life is fair or unfair.

We elect the most unworthy people to Govern us so ordinary in their own way
And if they are those who represent us then what of us all do that say
They don't Govern for all of the people and they don't have a sense of fair play
But suppose too in Nature's wild kingdom you too have the creatures of prey

Those who want power the most always get it to get what they crave for they succeed
But not for the battlers they Govern they only help those of help not in need
Get rid of the big Corporations ruled by Bureaucrats consumed by greed
The good leader rules for everybody and the bad leader only for the well to do lead.

Those who want power the most always get it and good leaders as ever are rare
And thousands each day die of hunger and too few for them seem to care
And the gap between the haves and the have nots keep widening and rank and class distinction still prevails today
And the dream of an egalatarian society is fading and fading away.
