Though His Here To Many Poem by Francis Duggan

Though His Here To Many

Though his here to many is not a known face
He is one who is an asset to the place
Since he does love Nature and for wildlife truly does care
Everyplace nowadays in need of the environmentally aware
His kind by land developers are looked on as foes
Since the development of building or mining on natural habitat they strongly oppose
His is the voice for Nature for the birds and animals and trees
And the flower bearing plants for the polluting bees
News headlines by his sort have never been made
And for them there never is a street parade
Since voices for Nature on her behalf have much to say
And greedy developers see them as people of their profiteering of getting in the way
As a true friend of Nature to his thoughts he is true
And to him and his sort far more credit is due.
