Thoughtless Ones Poem by ula step

Thoughtless Ones

thoughtless women they are
she says, she loves her child,
she let her child be in hazard of so many problems,
she knows the consequences,
but she may not quit her infatuation to fashion,
even though, she says, she loves her child,
and knows consequences...
who can teach her what love is?
not her child, than who?
who can open her mind and heart and say:
look this hurts, don’t do it.
