Thoughtlessness Poem by Laura Ballou

Thoughtlessness

The running of a warm tear
cascading down a thoughtless face
where the mind wanders
to matters unspoken
brushed away
by hands paralyzed in fear
and streaked in blood
For the death of an individual
that couldn't even live enough
to die
as the fears wash away
to reveal nothing...
And the love once uncontained
splashes into an oblivion
One would never hope to find
where I will lie alone
and wait
for it all to begin
again.
