Thousands Of Words Written Poem by Ronald Chapman

Thousands Of Words Written

You've already captured my heart;

It's because of your dark eyes, like dark chocolate covered almonds,
Your silky black hair shining in the sunlight,
Sweet red cherry lips, I can kiss,
Bright smile that brings the sunshine every day,

From time to time, you take hold of my hand,
Let's go for a walk and just talk,
Walking on warm sand with bare feet, sometimes laughing,

Sometimes there is sadness,
I capture your tears,

Thousands of words written,
Captured from dreams of you,

Holding on tight to my dreams,
Looking far to the East,
Seeing a yellow sunrise every day,

I can't let go of you,

As my life slowly sets, like a gray sunset,

Losing you, would be like every star in the evening sky flickering out,
You have changed my life,
You have saved my life,

Let's love for a lifetime, and beyond,
For eternity.
